Children’s Liturgy

The Children’s Liturgy groups meet in the library during the 9.0am and 11.00am Sunday Masses. The children – usually primary school age – start the Mass in church with their parents and then go out for the teaching of the Word (sometimes accompanied by their parents).

One or two of the teachers are experienced, qualified teachers and all are parents themselves. We follow a course of Bible based stories and  undertake various activities including celebrating  the festivals of the Church such as Lent, Easter, All Saints, Christmas and special saints’ days. The children  learn prayers, sing Christian  choruses and  remember our suffering brethren in other countries.

All children are welcome to come  and join us.
