The group is involved in exploring the Catholic Faith through the two inspired sources of Christian belief and practice recognised by the Catholic Church – the Holy Bible and Holy Tradition.
Sometimes the group will start with a Biblical text and expand their understanding by relating it to the Church’s teaching and liturgy. Sometimes they work from doctrine back to Biblical texts. No deep theological knowledge is required but you do need to be open to questioning what you think you know in the face of the actual teaching of Christ and his Church.
The group meets every Tuesday (19.25 to 20.25) in the presbytery from early September to late July except from mid-December to mid-January, Holy Week and Easter Week, or when otherwise specified in the parish newsletter.
