THIRTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Last weekend we focused on raising funds to the training of young Rosminian men for the priesthood and for their missionary work as priests and brothers at home and abroad.  We are delighted to report that £854 was raised in response to Fr Emilian’s appeal.  If there are any parishioners or friends & relatives of parishioners who would like to either sponsor a Rosminian brother in his priestly studies or who would like to make a donation to the Rosminian fund for the training of priests, your generosity and financial support would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

This weekend we join the Church in marking World Mission Sunday, when we remind ourselves that all of us are ‘missionaries’ by the very nature of our baptism and that to be missionary is to have a passion for Jesus and for his people. Let us be united with the whole Church in praying for, and supporting, our brothers and sisters who are involved in proclaiming the message of Jesus’ love as missionaries.

Kwediboma Appeal: Please take home your copy of the Health Centre Update. Many thanks to everyone who supports our parish missionary work.
