RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.  The primary focus of RCIA is the would-be Catholic.  It encourages the community within the parish to support the enquirers and to accompany them on their faith journey.

RCIA consists of a series of small and friendly group meetings which normally start in the autumn. There is never any pressure on anyone to share or talk if they do not want to. The meetings usually consist of a talk from one of the priests followed by group discussions and a re-convening to discuss findings.
